Title: Bringing Back The Balance (Part 39)

The gang all trudged on for about 5 hours straight when they came upon a building that looked like a fancy mansion. 'Check that out, guys,' Takuya said. 'Yeah, what do you think that could be?' Garfield asked. 'I think it looks like some kind of mansion or something,' Odie said. 'Thanks a lot, Luteinant Know-it-all,' Nermal said sarcastically. The gang all ran for the mansion so they could check it out. When they got there, there were amazed to see that the mansion was a split-level building and there were even portraits hung up on the walls. Suddenly, Sock spotted something that was in the kitchen. 'Look over there, guys! I think that might be a refridgerator,' He said. 'That's great 'cause where there's a refridgerator, there's bound to be grub,' JP said. 'Hold on a second. If there was food in that refridgerator, there probably wouldn't be enough for 6 children, 6 housepets, a siamese cat and a shar-pei/labrador mixed dog, a bobcat and a prairie dog, 10 fish, a boy and a tiger, and 4 penguins,' Koji said. 'Don't be such a pessimist, Koji,' Takuya said. The gang all went into the kitchen to see if there was any food in the fridge. To their surprise when they opened it up, there was food in there! 'Look at that! There's lasagna!' Garfield said happily. 'There's even surloin steak! My favorite!' Odie said. 'The person that owns this mansion must've guessed that we were coming here and that we liked certain kinds of foods that he or she must've placed them all into this refridgerator,' Nermal said. 'That's good. Because I didn't really realize that it was now time for supper,' JP said while rubbing his growling stomach with one hand. 'Let's get situated, guys,' Takuya said. Soon, the gang was hard at work getting out the food that they would be having to eat. Marlin, Dory, Nemo, and the Tank Gang didn't do anything so their bags were placed on the counter and were careful not to be confused with sushi. 'Pork chops are my specialty,' Odie said. Sock and Ari were using their sharp claws to smoothen out pieces of wood so they could make chopsticks and plates. Soon, the gang had gotten done getting set up. On the table, there was lasagna, steak, pork chops, salad, chicken, cheeseburgers, sushi, fish food for the fish, rice, burritoes, and even tacos. 'This should be enough for us all, guys,' Takuya said. The gang all sat down and pretty soon, they were eating their meal. 'Sardines and Anchovies are definitely good enough for me,' Sock said. 'Mmmmmm, asiago cheese! This is the best cheese spread I've ever had,' Floyd said. 'If any of us gets sick, then we all get sick,' Koji said. 'Pass the mashed potatoes!' Arlene said. 'I like apples and cider,' Kevin said. 'Hobbes, stop hogging all the tuna!' Calvin shouted. 'I want some tuna too!' Bucky shouted. 'This sausage and pepperoni pizza is delicious,' JP said. 'Tastes like chicken,' Nermal said. It was all through the night that the gang were still laughing and talking while eating their meal.
