Pokedex Activation Process: Chapter loading.
Chapter ID: Recognized as 319

Venusaur and Gyarados faced eachother as the battle began. 'Venusaur! Vine Whip!' I yelled. Venusaur extended a vine and wrapped around Gyarados.
'Gyaaaaarr!' it roared, struggling.
'Venusaur, you've got it now! Solar Beam!'
Venusaur's flower began glistening. Gyarados was bound by Venusaur's vines and soon Venusaur gathered enought sunlight. 'Saaaar!' It bellowed, and Gyarados was knocked out.
Lance frowned. 'I was unable to use its best attack, Dragon Rage,' he said. 'Then it's time for Charizard!'
I whispered, 'Harden!' Venusaur nodded and concentrated.
The baggy body began to stiffen into rough, greenish scales.
Lance closed his eyes. Hearing Aikami's thoughts he said, 'So, you're attempting to play possum. Charizard, Seismic Toss!'
Charizard, using Seismic toss, was a move where he threw Venusaur. Hardening wouldn't do any good! Charizard gripped the sides of Venusaur and flew into the air, then dropped Venusaur. Venusaur collided with the ground, roaring in pain.
'Veeeenoooo!' it let out a low-pitched cry.
'Back, Venusaur!' I called out. Maybe I should have let Charizard roast me, I pondered. 'Go, Lapras!'
I smiled. Fire may have been strong against ice, but Charizard can't melt it if it's already trapped... because it's frozen!
'Lapras, Sheer Cold!' I yelled. Sheer Cold was a move that was so powerful, it always knocked Pokemon out. I prayed that Charizard couldn't get out of the way.
Lance noticed this. He panicked. 'What should I do? Charizard, fla-'
The oncoming ice froze Charizard. His tail managed to melt the ice, but the freezing cold kept Charizard in place. The charizard ice sculpture came crashing down!
'Return!' Lance sighed.
Something snapped in my mind. Lance is famous for his three Dragonite. I had already beaten Aerodactyl, Gyarados and Venusaur. The three Dragonite were notoriously powerful.
Two were level 47, and the 3rd was level 50. 'Grr..' I was getting angry, knowing that I was in the middle of all this. If I beat Lance's 3 dragonite I would free the Legendary dogs, and nothing bad would happen to the badge disk.
But if I didn't beat them, then who knows what would happen.
'What's the matter, boy? Are you getting upset?'
'No!' I smiled. Lapras, level 89. No problem against the pathetic Dragonite.'
I opened a Super Potion. 'Drink this,' I told Lapras. Lapras happily guzzled down the potion and smiled, merrily yelling 'Praaas!'
Lance yelled, 'Go, Dragonite!'
A level-47 Dragonite stepped forth and roared at Lapras. Lapras was a little shaken, but it was only a yell. Lapras could still beat 'em up. After all, Lapras had enough energy for about 4 more Sheer Colds. That was more than enough against Dragonite.
Lance yelled, 'Dragonite! Charge up for Hyper Beam!'
Dragonite opened its mouth, and a glowing ball grew.
'Lapras! Sheer Cold!'
Lapras glowed blue and enthusiastically released a wave of icicles, freezing Dragonite. Suddenly, The Hyper Beam ball melted through the ice and hit Lapras. Lapras fell over, burnt. Lapras opened an eye and got up on a flipper. Dragonite fell to the ground, tuckered out from resisting the ice.
Lance became enraged. 'Nooo! This was perfect! How can my master plan be falling apart?'
Lance attacked! 'Dragonite, HYPER BEAM!!!'
'Lapras, Sheer Cold!'
This time Sheer Cold flew up to Dragonite and froze it on the spot right after Lance said his commands. I gave Dragonite no time.
The final Dragonite attacked.
'Go, Dragonite!'
I could attack with 2 more Sheer Colds. 'Sheer Cold! LAPRAS!'
Lapras glowed blue and sent out lots of icy pressure. But Dragonite dodged the many beams of ice that were coming out of Lapra's body.
'Sheer Cold Again!' I panicked. If this didn't hit, I might not be able to knock out Dragonite, and he might be able to blast Lapras. Lapras had already taken a hit, one more could finish it.
Oh no! It didn't hit Dragonite!
Dragonite shot a Hyper Beam at Lapras. I was worried this would happen, and it did. Lapras was fried, so I had send out my best.
'Raichu, get out there!' I yelled. Then, in lowered tones, I whispered, 'Shock him from the inside!'
Raichu jumped at Dragonite.
Dragonite swiped at Raichu, trying to block him.
Raichu got on Dragonite's arm.
Raichu lashed at Dragonite with its tail, sending sparks flying.
Dragonite grabbed Raichu. Raichu slipped out.
'Do it!' I yelled.
Raichu nodded and jumped at Dragonite's mouth.
Raichu got inside, and released a thundershock.
Dragonite was fried from the inside! It couldn't take the attack.
'Drrrraaa.... go... niiite...' It moaned! Dragonite crashed to the ground.
Just as that happened, I felt a severe prickly spike on my back.
'Watch Out!' My friends yelled.
I would have been cheering for Raichu! I turned around.
'Ow! It's a Beedrill!' The sting on my back really smarted.
Beedrill was carrying the Kanto Badge Disk on its back and flew to Lance.
Lance said, 'Doesn't matter if you beat me! I have both disks now! And, all I need now is...'
I looked down at my shirt with the badges. 'No! You'll never fill the Johto Badge Disk!'
Lance yelled, 'GIVE IT!'
He lunged at me. Quickly thinking, I shoved the side of the disk in his stomach. Lance let out a cry and fell into the abyss. 'AAAAAAH!' That was the end of Lance!
I looked down at my shirt to check for the badges.
They weren't there!
Kristin grimly moaned, 'I think we have trouble.'
I turned around.
Pok, the evil Pokemon, again! And Dalton!
'Well well well,' I said. 'We certainly do.'
