Title: Bringing Back The Balance (Part 44)
Back with the gang, they had decided to make breakfast while a few members were kinda talking or playing with each other. Bucky and Satchel were talking, Sock was playing with Nemo, and Calvin and Hobbes were also talking. JP was the only one sitting to the side looking very weak. 'Hungry. Need food,' He said weakly. 'JP, I haven't seen you move from that spot for 5 minutes,' Zoe said. 'I know but I haven't eaten anything since last night. I'm probably too weak to work,' JP said. Suddenly, the gang heard a voice yell, 'Roundhouse Punt!' A leg on a black cable came out but the gang ducked again. The gang knew that it was Arbormon because he had an attack like that. Then, Arbormon and Grumblemon came out like they were wanting to attack the gang. 'You guys take cover, Ari and I will take care of these guys,' Sock said. Then, Sock and Ari were covered in code rings and they both became Sockiomon and Aristomon again. 'Hahahahaha! A pair of Champion Digimon wanting to fight us, right?' Arbormon asked. 'Yous get out of the way or else me will bash you to a pulp!' Grumblemon shouted. 'I don't think so,' Sockiomon said. 'You're the ones who'll be bashed to a pulp,' Aristomon said. 'Victorian Slash!' Sockiomon shouted. He brought back both of his claws then slashed them forward sending out a blade of silver and black energy that slashed across Arbormon's face. 'Judecca Storm!' Arimon shouted. He twirled his staff around summoning up a cloud that released a bunch of lasers, lightning bolts, and projectiles at Grumblemon but he easily swatted them all away with his hammer. 'Nice try, Aristomon. But yous have to do better than that,' Grumblemon said as he was covered in code rings. 'Execute! Slide Evolution! Gigasmon!' Grumblemon shouted. In Grumblemon's place was a Digimon that looked like a large ogre with brown skin, muscles rippling his arms and legs, and a large nose. 'What's going on? Who is that?' Aristomon asked. 'It's Gigasmon!' The Digidestined said altogether. 'I'll Slide Evolve too,' Arbormon said as he was also covered in code rings. 'Arbormon! Slide Evolution! Petaldramon!' Arbormon shouted as he became Petaldramon again. 'Stand back, you big-nosed cretin! Sacred Laser!' Aristomon shouted. He held out his staff and released a laser of teal, indigo, chartreuse, and mahogany energy but Gigasmon had a sneaky trick up his sleeve. 'Quagmire Twister!' Gigasmon shouted. He leapt into the air and started spinning with his arms spread out and deflected the laser that hit Aristomon causing him to yell out in pain. 'Hey, Grass-mon! Wanna dance? Excalibur's Claws!' Sockiomon shouted. He flew in with his claws in a praying mantis-like pose and hit Petaldramon in the chest. 'That tickled. Let me show you a real attack,' Petaldramon said. 'What?' Sockiomon asked. 'Leaf Cyclone!' Petaldramon shouted. He stood up as his leaf mane started spinning and fired two cyclones of leaves from his nostrils that hit Sockiomon blowing him back until he hit a tree. Meanwhile, Aristomon was having a hard time trying to win against Gigasmon because the evil Beast Warrior of Earth kept on digging into the ground to avoid his attacks. Sockiomon got up and tried his best to avoid Petaldramon's Leaf Cyclone attack by flying around in zig-zags.
