Title: a different day
Somedays it feels like a dark cloud is casting
A dark shadow over me.
I feel naked and blind.
Other days I feel as if the sunsets and sunrises would stay all day and comfort me. The rolling waves mark their territory on the sand. Mist spraying. Wind picking up my hair and letting fly free. I feel alive and free.
Then there are days I just want to start over. Bad atitudes and quarrels to be gone.
As I smell the flowers, slowly, as if drinking them in,
I think of the possibilities a different day may hold.
On the worst of worst days, and I shut my bedroom door, and open it in the morning, I am shutting one door and opening a new one.
I can wipe my slate clean and start fresh
Yesterday can just be a memory
Everybody is a different person each and everyday
And just when I thought nothing could get worse and let it all end, when I did think my life was ending, it was in fact just begining.
Each different day, I see things instead of looking at them. I see people for who they are and not what they are.
Each different day, I listen to things instead of hearing them. I listen to what my parents try to teach me so I can pass that on to my kids and have a better relationship with them.
Each day is different and it's up to you to start making an improvement in lives around you and for yourself.
