Title: sweet illusion
i was awakened at the dead of night
to find you at my window
for that night you sought adventure
you asked of me to take your hand
and i did as we soon began to fly...
we soared across the heavens
gazed upon the moon and the stars
glided through the galaxy
flew around the world and back again
and soon discovered one of our own...
you tucked me in and wished a good-night
before i could blink you were out of my sight
i rubbed my eyes so vigorously in confusion
had you only been but a sweet illusion?
and just at that moment things weren't what they seemed
i tried to figure out if it were only a dream
when i was with you i felt nothing but sweet bliss
and could only imagine that one speacail kiss...
would you talk to me when i'm sitting alone?
would you walk me to school and with me back home?
will you ever reasure me when i'm feeling kinda bad?
could you ever be the boyfriend that i never thouhgt i'd have?
the time we spent together was just too good to be true
and i'll never leave this dream until i say goodnight to you
