Title: Poisoned love

Why can’t you see all the love hidden in my heart?
Why do you always avoid my eyes,
Which reflects all my love for you?
Why can’t you see your sole picture,
In my mind, heart and eyes?
Why can’t you see your name,
Etched in my soul?
Why do you always try to avoid me?
Why do you always ignore me when I try to talk to you?
What happened in a fraction of a second,
That changed your feelings towards me so much?
What was my blame?
What sin did I commit?
Did I break your heart,
Or your trust,
That you found it a must,
To treat me like dust.
A bloody stain which you easily wiped off,
From your heart, from your life.
You stabbed me with a knife,
And opened all my wounds.
And yet I remained mum,
As all that I wanted was you.
You took advantage of my weakness.
A weakness which I thought was my strength: you.
You took your revenge,
And left me at the starting point,
Where I had been,
Before you entered my life,
And poisoned it…
