Title: Battle with Tori. Ep18
I scooped up my white mice onto my shoulders and as I presumed, Tori began to scream loudly. “Get away from me!!”
I snickered and so did Javy. Kay was quiet, she had not said a word yet.
“Battle?” I asked, raising my eyebrows in a suggesting way.
Tori stopped screaming and her large icy blue eyes widened in shock.
“You……you DARE challenge me? I am the daughter of the latest Pokemon Master, Luciano Maplie, the best trainer in the world.”
I smirked but inside, I was shocked.
“That doesn’t mean that you are the same, prissy.” I retorted.
Tori’s perfectly made-up face turned red and she looked as if she was going to blow, even Picken was backing away.
“Fine,” she bellowed, trying to get her anger under control.
Tori closed her eyes for a second and breathed deeply. After a while, her normal face colour came back and she opened her heavily made-up eyes. She walked into a park. The flowers of the park were beautiful. There were all sorts of colours, but I couldn’t help feeling regretful that we might kill some of them. The children that were playing in the park stopped when they realised that a battle was about to begin.
The children sat down quite near us, on the stone steps leading up to the park pool. Suddenly, a girl appeared beside Tori. Her face was very tanned and she looked very worried. Tori turned towards her and said, “I am going to win!”
The girl looked so much different than Tori. She had short black hair and she was also taller than Tori even though Tori had her high heels on. The only things that they shared were their eyes. Tori and the girl’s eyes were a brilliant blue. But somehow, the other girl’s eyes were much warmer and softer, and much more real.
The girl went away to sit on the steps while Tori took out her first pokemon, Skitty.
“Go Skittles!” Cried Tori, flicking away her bouncy curls.
I took out Cane but before I could tell it to use an attack, Tori told her Skitty to use MEGA scratch. I didn’t really know what attack that was because I had never heard of it. I didn’t say a word while my Aracane dodged the MEGA scratch attack. Skitty sunk her claws into the flowers instead, ripping them apart. I closed my eyes in pain and when I opened them, Tori looked triumphant.
“Weaknesses are important,” hissed Tori, her eyes lit up with a menacing glow. I felt sick…
