...As I made my way to the great oak doors, Harry caught me. 'Hey Ron. What's going on?' He said, looking at my broomstick. 'Ermm... I'm going to go...' I started, thinking hard for a good excuse. 'You were saying?' He said impatiently. 'I was just coming back from...' My voice trailed off once again. 'Yeah, so I've got to go meet Hermione in the library. Sure you'll be at dinner tonight?' He asked me, looking concerned. I nodded. I waited until he was out of sight, and hurried out of the doors. I sprinted all the way to the Quidditch Stadium. I got in line with the other students who were trying out for Oliver Wood's old postion, Keeper. I knew I wasn't very good, but by watching my fellow classmates, I knew I would for sure get the postion I wanted. Then it was my turn. I gulped, and hoped for the best. I mounted my broomstick, and flew up, guarding the goal posts. As Angelina pelted a quaffle at the goal post, I almost fell off my broomstick and by pulling myself on, I aciddentally kicked it up and caught it. I wasn't as good as Wood, but I was better than the boys below me. As I caught one more I saw them clapping. 'C'mon Weasley! Show me what you have!' She threw one last quaffle at the goal post, and I hit it out of the way.
I flew down, mounted my broom again, and hopped off. Angelina came down after me, and patted my back. 'You know, Weasley, You've got real potential. I like that. You're on the team!' I was so relieved. 'I'm sorry.' She said to the dissapointed boys who didn't make the cut. 'You,' She said, grinning. 'Will make a fantastic keeper. We still need to have you fitted for your uniform robes.' She patted my back once more, and went into the Gryffindor locker room. I then ran all the way back to the castle, a much broader grin on my face.
