Title: Learn to seize love
I gave you everything,
My heart and my love,
My trust and my life,
Everything I possessed,
Even my soul.
And despite the fact,
That I asked nothing back,
You gave me so much,
Oceans of tears,
Mountains of sorrows,
A handful of betrayal,
And your eyes filled with hatred.
I considered myself part of you,
Someone living in your heart.
But you eventually proved,
That people can live,
After having given their heart to someone,
And that very person broke it into pieces,
And yet forced you to live,
As he even controlled your life.
You made my life a living hell,
By snatching away everything from me.
U were so selfish,
That u always took and never gave,
U did not even grant me death.
I was incomplete without you,
Or I thought so.
But when I think of it now,
I only find heaps of regrets.
I was so engrossed in you,
That I forgot about the world.
I did not consider the chances,
That walked to me by themselves,
As I was only thinking about you.
Only to be faithful to u,
I let go of people,
Who truly loved me.
I thought u to be my soul mate,
And now that I know that u’re not the one,
It’s too late,
As I lost the chance,
To unite with the one,
Who was really meant for me,
Who himself came to me,
And expressed his true love for me,
And begged me to accept it.
I did not see the sincerity in his eyes,
I rejected him pitilessly,
And didn’t even glance back to see and realise,
To what extent he loved me.,
As I was too busy,
To please you,
And give you my heart.
A few days later,
I got a letter,
In which he declared his love for me,
And I realised that this was called true love,
And I felt that I love him too.
But it was too late,
As the last sentence said,
“I cannot live in this ruthless world,
Where you won’t be by my side.
That’s why I’m going forever”
I could not even see him for the last time.
Now it’s too late,
As he’s gone forever,
And I’m left completely alone,
Rejected by everyone.
I’m the sole one to be blamed,
As I could not learn to live life,
To seize the opportunities it offered,
And to experience true love,
Which had come to the door of my heart.
And all this,
Just because of you….
