Title: Too late...
You never realised how I felt,
When I lost you forever,
After seeing you in the arms,
Of a complete stranger.
You never knew the value of my tears,
Which refused to stop,
While I tried to ask you for an explanation,
Hoping that all I had seen,
Was just my misconception,
And when you refused to understand,
And feel the pain,
Which was stabbing me,
When you went out of my life.
You only realised about my true love,
When you were rejected,
By the one for whom you’d left me.
That very heart of mine,
Which would once readily melt,
By one mere glance of you,
Which would never tire,
To yearn for you,
That very heart of mine,
Now remained unmoved,
After you compelled it,
To become as hard as stone,
That very heart of mine,
Now refused to budge,
Even by your most sincere words,
Which you simply put in front of me,
Expressing your true feelings,
And showing a trait of regret,
Which reflected in your eyes,
Showing that you wanted,
To rectify your mistake.
But despite everything,
It was too late,
As I had moved too far,
Beyond your reach,
Where I could not even,
Catch up with myself,
Even if I wanted.
And now,
However sincerely I would wish,
I know that it is impossible for me to return,
As no one would be able to compensate,
For everything you took away from me,
All those years,
All those wonderful time spent,
And you’re the only one,
Who is at fault for all this,
Only you…
