Title: Do I Know You? Pt 4
I swung around as he grabbed my hand. He looked into my eyes but it felt like he was digging in my soul, hoping to find the girl who was his friend so many years ago. As he dove deeper and deeper I closed my eyes. Hoping to shut him out, not wanting him to realize how I'd always felt about him. But it was too late.
I felt his other hand on my face and then the next thing I knew his lips were touching mine. In that moment I knew I was in love with Harry and I always had been. The kiss itself was perfect, soft, sweet, tender, and making me want it to last forever.
He pulled away but I kept my eyes closed. He took his and ran it through my hair and pulled me into a hug.
'Jamie I....'
I just stayed in his arms never wanting to leave.
'I love you.' He said softly. I finally looked him in the eyes and whispered softly, I love you too.
We stood there for a long time just being in eachothers arms was enough.
'I..I'm staying upstairs, umm tomorrow you want to go to Bertie's or something?'
'Yes,' Was all I could say. I looked him at him.
My childhood playmate and best friend was now the guy I realized I had truly loved the whole time. I watched him walk away and wondered why I had never realized it before.
