I'm here, you're here, but I as well could be somewhere else. You know I'm here, you know I know, but you still don't welcome me. I feel weird, like a parrot with a flock of pigeons, different, yet related. I wish you would say hey, and some how make me feel welcome...but you don't. I'm still sitting here, in this place, far away I see you. You're having fun, but couldn't I have fun with you? All you have to do is ask...or maybe compliment me somehow. But you don't...you haven't yet so what am I to expect? I know I'm not the best, but how would you know me, I mean really know me? You haven't talked to me, and so you won't really know me until you do. Just ask...I'll still be here waiting. Wish I could some how show you that I can be as good as you, but maybe just in a different way. Just ask...I don't want to feel like this anymore. Your smile is artificial, won't you open up the door?
