Title: Sickness

Head Throbbing,
Mouth Dry,
Throat Swelling,
Fever High.

First Hot-Cold,
Then Cold-Hot,
This sickness is,
What it’s not.

Who let it in anyway?
Followed my brother home
From school one day.
Now it won’t seem
To go away.

Big Brother,
Little Brother,
Father,
Me,
And Mother.

Croaky Tones,
Hacking Cough,
Chills in the Bones,
Pills in the Mouth.

Can’t wait till Spring
Anymore,
When this thing,
Will live no more.

Till then,
I’ll patiently wait.
And start,
A meaningless debate,
And hope my fate
Will just have to wait...
