Title: A Day In The Life Of A Coin
I started my day in the wallet of Mrs.Bellot, a mother and housekeeper.As she walked down the street towards the grocery I wondered what my day would be like.She took a bag for the cashier and gave me to her instead.The woman took me from Mrs.Bellot and put me into a dark drawer.Every few minutes the lady would take someone out and put someone in.The others and I talked about all kinds of things .Like where we had been and what had happened to us.Through a little crack I looked at the day light outside I longed to be out.Then suddenly the lady held me i could feel her warm fingers curl themseves about me.I was then placed into the hands of a man with rough hands who dropped into his pocket as if he did'nt care the least about me.His pocket was empty and i felt lonely compared to the draw filled with so many others like me.I remember the great noise I heard when the man walked into a place filled with smoke and bad odours.He pushed me across a smooth surface into the wet slippery hands of a bartender.The woman placed me into her pocket greedily and coninued what she was doing.In her pocket was a dirty handkerchief which told me she needed a wash but never got one.By now it was About 3:00 in the afternoon.The lady walked out of the smooky place at 4:00 and went down a dusty alley.The woman pulled out the hanky and i fell to the ground because I was wrapped up in the hankie.The woman unfortunately never knew i fell because she kept on walking.I felt cold in that little alley all alone and afraid too.Then here comes along a boy by the name of Gregg.Who picks me up and carries me home in his little fat hands.He gives me to his mom who is Mrs.Bellot.So here I am now back in Mrs.Bellots wallet.Now I am going to sleep.I wonder what tommorow will be like.
