Title: The Story Of One Small Torchic #1
It was the day before the trainers would choose a starter pokemon. But while Maryanne, a Mudkip, and Jordan, a Treecko, were making themselves look awesome, Torchic was planning to escape. He ate rice cakes until there were only 10 left. Then he put them in his blanket along with 10 donut holes and a bottle of milk. He put in a jingly ball and a pokeball. He was ready. He acted as if his stuffed blanket was a pillow. He lied down to rest. The other two put hairspray on themselves and also lied down. It was already 6:30pm and Prof. Oak went to bed at 7:00. Just a half an hour. Maryanne got up to get a ricecake.
'Hey!' she cried. 'Where's the ricecakes?' Torchic chuckled.
'How would I know?' he replied. He lied his head back down and fell aslepp. Soon to be awakened by Prof. Oak's goodnight kisses. Torchic hated those. He was right. At 6:55 the Professer came in to say goodnight. Then he walked back to the house, changed into his pj's and went to bed at 7:00 sharp. Maryanne and Jordan were already asleep. They wanted a nice early start to prepare themselves. So at 7:03 Torchic picked himself up and went out the door. He started toward route one. But in the grass was a wild Ratata. He never battled a pokemon before! Will Torchic win? Or will he be knocked out and chosen to be a starter? You won't know unless you read The Adventures Of One Small Torchic #2 tomorrow!
