Title: THE LOST AND FOUND GIRLS
It was Friday afternoon and Nancy was playing in the park with her sister, Breanda, and her cousins Guadalupe and Sandra. They were playing hide-and-seek and Nancy went to hide with Sandra while Breanda and Guadalupe counted. That’s when the terrible thing happened.
Nancy, Sandra where are you?!?” Guadalupe yelled out in the woods. “Ahhhh!!” Breanda screamed. “Spider!!” “Calm down you scaredy cat - it won’t hurt you,” Guadalupe whispered. “Oh man, we are going to be in so much trouble,” Breanda said. “It was your fault they got lost,’’ Guadalupe said. “Me? You are the one who is responsible for your sister and I am responsible for my sister,” Breanda replied. “Shhh, I think somebody’s coming,” Guadalupe whispered. “Why did that old man have to scare us wearing his mask?” Sandra asked. “I don’t think it was really a mask, it looked like his face,” Nancy said wondering. “Stop messing around, Nancy, we have to get out of here,” Sandra said, stopping Nancy from her wondering. “Did you bring something good to eat, I’m hungry,” Nancy moaned. “I think I have some Hot Cheetos in my backpack,” Sandra said. “Well then, take them out and let’s eat them.” I told you it was only a squirrel in the tree,” Breanda said. “That squirrel looked like it was flying or something,” Guadalupe said. “It was only jumping,” Breanda said, untangling her hair from a branch. “Hey - is somebody there?” Guadalupe yelled out loud. “Yes there is,” a little old lady answered. “Oh, hello ma’am, we’re looking for my sister and my cousin, have you seen them?” Breanda asked. “No I haven’t seen people around here for years, but please come in and have some tea. Maybe if they’re around here they’ll come to my cabin,” the little old lady said. “Umm alright,” The girls both said at the same time. “Hey is that a cabin up ahead?” Sandra asked Nancy. “Yeah I think so,” she replied. “Finally - we reach the cabin,” Nancy said. “I thought we were never going to make it,” Sandra said with a mouthful of Hot Cheetos. Sandra and Nancy knocked on the door. “Nancy, Sandra I’m so glad we found you!” Breanda yelled. “It was her fault you got lost,” Guadalupe said pointing at Breanda. “Well, now that you are all back together I can tell you where to go,” The little old lady said. “Take this path and you will get to the park.” “Thank you” and “Good- bye,” The girls all said at the same time. “So why did you get lost?” Breanda asked Nancy and Sandra. “It’s a loooong story,” they said smiling.
