Suddenly, there was the sound of trees falling over from outside so JP, Bokomon, Neemon, Patamon, Socramon, Manxmon, Lemurmon, Apteryxmon, and Kunemon ran outside so that they could find out what all the commotion was. There, they saw a very familiar Digimon. JP gasped in horror because he knew this Digimon from somewhere. It had the appearance of a cyborg with yellow eyes, held a microphone in one hand, and had a volcano on his back. 'Volcamon,' JP said to himself. 'HUH!?!?' The Digimon, except for Bokomon and Neemon, said in surprise. 'Don't leave us hanging, big guy! Spill the beans!' Apteryxmon shouted. 'I like beans,' Neemon said. 'Good grief,' Bokomon said before snapping Neemon's pants. 'Alright, I'll tell you. When me and the others first came to the Digital World before Kouichi became part of our group and before we first met the housepets, we all got sucked into the dimensions of Mercuremon's Beast form called Sakkakumon. He transported us to fight 10 different Digimon in all 10 of the spheres on his body. Takuya fought Parrotmon in the Thunder Sphere, IceLeomon in the Ice Sphere, ShadowSeraphimon in the Light Sphere, and Mercuremon in the Metal Sphere, Koji fought Karatenmon in the Wind Sphere and Duskmon in the Darkness Sphere, Tommy fought Asuramon in the Flame Sphere, Zoe fought Ranamon in the Water Sphere, and I fought Volcamon in the Earth Sphere and Cherrymon in the Wood Sphere,' JP said solemnly. 'You think this is the same one you faced against, JP?' Cougmon asked. 'I don't know. Possibly,' JP said. 'So, we meet again, JP Shibayama,' Volcamon said sinisterly. 'Yup, this is the same one I battled,' JP said to himself in a low voice. Socramon, Manxmon, Lemurmon, Apteryxmon, and Kunemon got into their fighting poses but JP stopped them as he said, 'No, this is my fight.' 'But why?' Kunemon asked. 'Because when I fought against Volcamon, he told me that back in the real world, I didn't have any friends and that I always tried to get friends by doing magic tricks or giving them chocolate bars but as our journey through the Digital World continued on, I learned that you can't attract attention from friends, you have to be yourself to get friends,' JP said. 'Wow,' Apteryxmon said. 'Astounding,' Manxmon said. 'Well, I'll be darned,' Socramon said. 'Knock 'em dead, big guy!' Lemurmon shouted. 'Yeah, this time, I'll show Volcamon what true friendship really is,' JP said as he climbed down the treehouse and pulled out his D-Tector. 'Execute! Spirit Evolution!' JP shouted as the Fractal Code encircling his hand snaked its way around his body. Moments later, Beetlemon stood in his place and he was ready to fight Volcamon again.
