This chapter was too long to fit. it is in two parts.
The start of it all
Greetings, stranger. I am a poor fellow by the name of Charlie Harks, and I amd 20 years old! 'Imagine that!', you say. There is no need for imagining that. It is indeed a true fact. I am not your ordinary 20 year old Charlie Harks, you see, but I have special powers and I can read the mind of any person within five feet of me. This is really my only talent, because this extraordinary thing takes up most of my brain. In fact, it takes up every bit except the part that allows me to speak, do math, and all that other ordinary stuff. I live in a deserted department store in Rhode Island. I live my days surrounded by my computers, and I call each one by name. There is a line of computers, and from left to right their names are Jane, Kyle, Harry, Sally and Bobner. I know this because I read their thoughts and I could tell. Bobner is usually made fun of because he has such a strange name, but I favor that computer most for it has the fastest internet connection. Bobner, over the years has become my best friend, because he can carry a good conversation without performing an illegal operation. Kyle performs many illegal operations, forr he is not a very good computer. One day, I was sitting at Kyle, and I was scanning some pictures, because of the fact that he was the only computer with a scanner. Each of my computers has a certain feature whitch I admire. Jane has a camera, Kyle has a scanner, Harry has a printer, Sally has a microphone and Bobner has a fast internet connection. Any way, I was scanning some pictures and Kyle performed an illegal operation. Luckily, I had just scanned them onto the web, so I ran over to Bobner, and went online. There were the pictures, right there. Then, suddenly, I received an instant message from my computer, Bobner. 'Greetings. I , your humble computer named Bobner, have just detected a small bit of news off the internet. There is currently a theif who is charged for kidnapping George Washingtons grandson, James Washington. He is mind-bent on making a large profit by collecting a ransom fee. The goverment is offering a large reward of $50,000 for anyone who can rescue the child. I thought perhaps you could assist the goverment in finding the child, with your superb powers to read minds.', he said. I typed back, 'Perhaps, Bobner I could do this task that you said I might do. Do you have any clue how I would get started?'
