My First Avrick Battle

Title: My First Avrick Battle
I introduced myself in my last story, and now, I shall begin telling you about my adventures in Avrick.
I walked slowly down Starter's trail, looking around me for Pokemon. The six Pokemon I had with me were Swampert, Metagross, Salamence, Glalie, Mightyena and Hariyama. Suddenly, I came across another trainer. He looked very confident in his black cape and sunglasses.
'You look tough,' he said. 'Wanna battle?'
'OK,' I said. This would be my first Avrick battle.
'Go, Typhlosion!' called the trainer.
A large lizard-like Pokemon with flames blazing on the back of its neck, appeared in a flash of light.
'Swampert, you're up!' I cried.
The trainer's eyes widened behind his glasses. Obviously, he knew what might happen to his Pokemon. He needed Typhlosion to try and withstand Swampert's supreme power. But how?
'Typhlosion, Mega Kick!' commanded the trainer.
Typhlosion raised its foot and got ready to kick Swampert, but...
'Swampert, CounterAttack!' I cried.
Swapert grabbed Typhlosion's foot and slammed the Pokemon against the ground. Then it threw the monster up into the air, and gave it a taste of its Drop Kick. Typhlosion rocketed up into the air. It fainted before it hit the ground.
'Return, Typhlosion,' said the trainer. 'You can never defeat this Pokemon, pal. Go, Alakazam!'
A large fox-like Pokemon with a large head appeared,
'Go Mightyena!' I cried.
