Title: A Day in the Life of Pharaoh Brothers
Incase you've never met a Pharaoh before, you'll need to know a few things, they don't get along with their siblings, they love cats and spaghetti, and don't worry, they don't bite.
On this special day John and Larry (the Pharaoh Brothers) were busy fighting, petting their twelve cats and eating spaghetti…at the same time. It was very funny to watch; they ate like dogs, pet the cats with their feet and fought with their hands. After a while, the boys’ mother (who was also the Pharaoh Queen), walked in. As soon as she saw what was going on she quickly turned around and walked quietly out of the room so that no one would see her and expect her to do something about the whole mess.
Once the boys got full however, things began to change. John cleaned up the kitchen, which was covered with spaghetti sauce from the way the boys had been eating and Larry left to walk the cats. The Pharaoh Queen became worried when the noise stopped for it was very unusual for the household to be quiet, but after a while she decided that it would be better if she went outside to water her cactus garden, which was already drowning.
When Larry was out walking the cats he thought a lot. On this particular day he was thinking about time, why not invent a small item to wear on ones wrist that told time, he thought, and when he got home and unleashed the cats, he told his brother.
“Larry! You know John Harrison is planning on inventing the pocket watch right?” John asked
“What! You better not steal my idea!”
“No! Not me, John Harrison, in 1762”
“Who’s that?”
“I don’t know, some famous guy I read about in that Future Times magazine”
“Well so much for that idea! “Larry stomped off to think some more.
Later, when the boys were fighting over which game to play, Desert Dessert or Pyramid Puzzle, there mother came in and told them dinner was ready.
“What are we having?” the boys asked
“The usual.” The Pharaoh Queen answered
The boys ran into the kitchen and began gulping down spaghetti. The twelve cats (who were also going to eat spaghetti) ran into the kitchen and began gulping it down.
The Pharaoh Queen looked at her boys, then the cats. She was still trying to decide whether the cats had learned to be pigs from the boys or the other way around when, the boys began eating her plate of spaghetti.
When, all the spaghetti was gone the boys went upstairs. They brushed their teeth with cactus bark, and got into bed.
“I wonder what it would be like to live a day in the life of future American boys!” John said aloud.
“Well, if I had to live a day in the life of someone I would want to make one request.” Larry said
“What would it be?”
“They would have to like cats…and love spaghetti!”
