Title: The Deadly First Day
I was nervous. Today was my first day at Hogwarts. I am not Muggle-born, but pureblood. I was used to seeing my parents conjure things, or do magic, but I had never actually DONE it before. I was right now in the Hogwarts Express. Luckily my best friend Helenda was also a witch. So was Elissa, my other best friend. We sat in a compartment. My parents have given me some money, so I bought some food from a nice lady with a cart. I shared my food with my friends.
Suddenly, there came a knock on the compartment door. A girl stepped in. 'Novia!' me and my friends said. Novia was another schoolmate. A classmate, actually. Novia sat down on the seat. Another girl walked it. It was Angie, another friend. We talked happily and ate the snacks that I bought. The train stopped after hours. We had changed into our robes. The five of us walked out of the large train. We rode boats (Me with Helenda and Elissa, Novia with Angie) across some body of water. Something white flashed past me. I gasped. That white thing pulled me and whispered in my ear,'Come along with me, Sheri, into the water...' Whitey pulled me into the water. I couldn't speak. I couldn't breath. I felt the water go into my mouth and up my head. I was drowning...
I woke up minutes later in an unfamiliar room. There were a lot of beds. I was on one. A lady walked into the room. 'Oh, you're up,'she said. 'I'll help you to the Great Hall,' The next thing I knew, I was in a magnificent room with five loooong tables. One in the front and four in the middle. Sort of. I heard my name being called. 'Lohardjo,Sheri,' I stepped forward and sat on a stool. A wrinkly old woman put a shabby hat on my head. It said...
