Title: Sent off: Episode 2
It was after just being wound up that Thelen and Phelan both had an idea. It was Phelan who came up with it first and he whispered it in to Thelen's ear and they agreed. Two substitutes Roderick Baron and Helen Martin were fiery and hot-headed players and not just because they had ginger hair.
Thelen shielded the ball as he went past Neumann. As he tried to pass Martin he suddenly nudged the ball forward with a violent jolt. For some reason this angered Helen Martin and she lifted her bladed studs and sliced the tendon of Thelen. This was not what Phelan had in mind at all. Helen Martin was already making her way back to the dressing room before the referee even held the massive red card aloft or rather a red circle because they couldn't afford to have a rectangle. Phelan jumped for joy as the red card was brandished in graceful fashion. It was almost like getting full marks on a test or winning a marathon, it was a real lifting self-confidence boosting feeling. But then Phelan saw the severed leg of Thelen and the tendon poking out of the back of the leg and all the colour disappeared from his face. 'That's the last straw,' Phelan said gravely. Phelan sweetly threw a punch at some random Uncool United player. It just happened to be Kristina Colesen who, along with Sarah Parkinson and Steve Ridler, was nursing a facial injury. Kristina's face shattered immediately and her front teeth fell out and were embedded in Phelan's fist. It hurt Phelan but not as much as it hurt Colesen. Colesen would later be rushed to hospital before dying in her sleep that night after being confirmed brain-dead. Phelan was being restrained by Sarah Parkinson and Steve Ridler. Steve had his eyeball quite near Phelan's elbow and what happened next was well shall we just say that a certain ball was hurt and a certain guy named Steve had to wear an eyepatch before the damage was healed.
