'So, what are these Swift Spirits anyway?' Sock asked. 'We don't know. Ophanimon didn't tell us, she just said that we have to keep them from Hadiosmon's clutches,' Odie said. Bokomon pulled out his book and said, 'I think Ophanimon wants us to collect the Swift Spirits from the clutches of a group of evil Digimon known as the Elemental Dragons.' 'The Elemental Dragons?' Everyone asked altogether. The gang then learned that the Element Dragons were a group of 10 Dragon Digimon that were each based on the 10 Elements of the Legendary Warriors. They were Pyrodramon the Flame Dragon, Lumieredramon the Light Dragon, Arcticdramon the Ice Dragon, Kazedramon the Wind Dragon, Ikazuchidramon the Thunder Dragon, Umbradramon the Darkness Dragon, Metaldramon the Steel Dragon, Mizudramon the Water Dragon, Branchdramon the Wood Dragon, and Earthdramon the Earth Dragon. 'Will each of us battle against the Element Dragons?' Tommy asked. 'As a matter of fact, yes. Each of the Element Dragons are guarding the Swift Spirit that is the same element that they represent,' Bokomon answered. 'So, what is the deal of all this Digimon business, homedogs?' RJ asked. 'RJ, be polite!' Verne said. 'I have a strange feeling that we might be able to turn into Digimon eventually,' Attila said. 'Well, we should be lucky that we're still alive,' Jimmy said. Suddenly, a loud crash was heard and the group all jumped out of the way as a bunch of trees almost fell on them.
