Title: What I Want To Be-Aspiration-
When I grow up?
When does one grow up,
Is it when they turn 18,
But what does that mean?
Age is just a number.
Does it mean when you see it,
The world, for what it is,
In that case am I grown up?
Can it be a 16 year old is grown up,
In that case can someone in their forties,
Still not have grown up?
Suddenly everything is happening fast,
Exams, a grade on a piece of paper
Based on ninety minutes
That your future is affected by,
Panic attacks, fear taint them.
It's all happened so quickly...
What do I want to be,
When I grow up,
If I am not already?
Do I still wish to be famous?
Do I still wish to be known by all?
I've searched for the answer,
In both good and bad ways
I know who,
What
I don't want to be,
(Pain, intoxication,
You're living
Lies)
So I'm making a decision as to whom
I
Want
To be in the not too distant future
And it's all I want now,
I just want to be
Me.
I just want to be
Happy.
I just want harmony between my two wants.
That's my aspiration!
Note-No idea what inspired this, I'm doing my exams this month and so they were probably playing on my mind. :-)
