Title: The battle between love. A legolas love story.
Just before i begin remember that whenever i begin and end something with '~' this means the speech is in elvish :>. Whenever i put meleth nin it means my love. Please sit back and enjoy, i will make this story as good as i can for all you Lord of the Rings lovers out there. Enjoy!!!
Idril woke up to Legolas' beautiful sleeping face, their bond was stronger than ever before. Aragorn slowly peeped his head into the tent 'Idril you must wake Legolas up, the ring wraiths are near' he said urgently. 'Yes, ok' she replied. Aragorn exited the tent to Put on his armor. 'Legolas, wake up the ring wraiths are near' Idril whispered into Legolas' ear shaking him. He woke with a start and said 'Hurry I just had a vision that Sauron was calling to Aragorn we must go' he said quickly getting all his armor on. Idril raced out of the tent and quickly saddled up Padril her beautiful Liver chestnut stallion. Legolas quickly saddled up Arod and hoisted Gimli up. As idril and Aragorn waited. (Aragorn rode his bay horse Brego) They all quickly urged their horses into quick canter as they made their way over to Helms Deep. It was a one day ride and they rested their horses for only once. King Theodon was waiting for them as the ring wraiths and orcs came closer and closer. The night had drawn in quickly. Aragorn and Gimli went straight to the king. As Idril was on her way to sharpen her blades, a soft hand pulled her into his arms. 'Legolas...' Idril whispered as a lone tear rolled down her face as she grasped onto the the handsome elfs tunic. 'Idril, you must promise me you want get hurt... I dont want to lose you... I can't live you without you' Idril pulled back from the embrace and gently kissed Legolas on the lips as he kissed back, She pulled back from the kiss and looked into her lovers eyes. '~I promise meleth nin~' Idril took Legolas' hand and dragged him to their place next to Gimli at the wall infront of the archers. Rain fell heavily on the the soldiers shields as they awaited their fates. Accidently a lone arrow escaped from an old mans bow and shot an orc directly in the neck bringing it down to the ground...dead. Aragorn shot a stare across and shouted '~Hold~' Idril stared at Aragorn...her elder brother and adored his fighting spirit. The uruk hai ran to the walls and climbed onto the ladders as arrows flew and knocked the whole front line down. Arrow after arrow Idril hit all her targets as did Legolas beside her. Soon the Uruk hai were too many as Idril took out her Elven blades and brought all that crossed her path. Furiously searching around for Legolas she longed for a flash of his blonde hair or deep blue entrancing eyes. To be continued ..........
