'oh god ,i'm loosin track of time.only if those durselys had given me my calender back.i think my b'day is approchin.it seems like a few weeks went by after i came here.'thought Harry lyin on his back on his bed in the smallest bedroom.the durselys had taken away his calender so that he would not know his birhtday,but he knew that his friends would not forget.he got out of bed and ran down stairs.without anyone knowin he tip-toed into the kitchen and found the calender.suddenly a thought struck him 'without knowin the day how can i know the date?'he tought of ways to know the day.he thought'my b'day falls on a wednesday.today is not saturday or sunday cause uncle Vernon has work today'
Suddenly he heard a voice on the TV sayin,'today is not like yesterday,the 30 of July....' he didn't hear anymore. he tip-toed out of the kichen,up the stairs and into his bedroom, with his insides bubblin with exitment.'today is my birthday'he tought,'the owls sent by my friends might be waitin'and sure enough an owl was
perched on Hedwig's cage.Hedwig was out in serch of food.He ran towards the owl but was dissappointed at the size of the parcel as it was very thin.'they might have put a compressin charm on it'he told himself hopefully,but was depressed as it was only a letter from the 'Burrow'.He opened it quite depressed and read,
'Happy Birthday,Harry.
Love,
Fred,George,Ron & Hermione.'
Frustrated,he threw the paper away and collapsed on the bed shoutin angrily,'Some kind of birthday' then suddenly about a dozen owls sowred in through the window and dropped a parcel beside him.straightenin he opened the parcel and found a letter with it.he read,
'hi Harry,i'm roshin.you didn't understand me?i'm ginny's friend and a fan of yours.so,hows life?i know it would be very bad with those muggles.i thought this gift on your b'day would ligthen u up.So i thought of byin u a broom,but i couldn't afford it so i thought of the book 'Quidditch trough the ages'but then i remembed u read it,then i thought of everythin you'd like to have-every flvour beans,chocolate frogs,extentable ears and all those stuff.it was difficult choosin which,so i bought some of all.Have a happy Birthday.and oh i forgot,when i told this to ginny she told we'll surprise you by givin all our gifts together.so the parcel contains a gift from everyone who loves u.
