Title: Straight from the book
This is what REALLY happened on the day that Harry's parents got killed.
Voldermort came, he got to the Potter's house, killed Harry's father, but mother protected Harry with love, Voldermort got repelled and lost his magic, Harry lived, but mother dies. When he goes to Hogwarts years later, Voldermort takes the face of proffeser Quirrel, the Defense against the Dark Arts teacher and tried to touch Harry, but he can't touch him, but Harry touches Volderort and melts his face.
