Title: Everyone Needs a Loving Mother
On December 10, 1999 my uncle died At first i was sad about my uncle dying but not for long. I was starting to get angry. Very Angry.
I had started to get angry because I was under so much pressure when he died and thats a favorite uncle, a died favortie uncle, on top of that pressure!
So one day I tried to forget about him and his death. I almost had forgoten but I hadn't. I exploded in tears.
I was so angry. I screamed and yelled and kicked everything in sight waiting, hoping, that the dear Lord would come any time now and give me back my unlce. But deep down, I knew he would never come. He would never give back my uncle.
Just as all this was going on, my mother stepped in my room.She told me to sit down and breathe. I did as she said, for I know better than to disobey my mother. She told me that she wished my uncle was here with us too. She also said that you and i both know that screaming and kicking isn't going to bring him back. She left me to sit in my room and think about it.
And it hit me. I knew my mother was right. She always is.
I went to talk to my mother that night after dinner. I told her she was right. She had a look on her face saying she understood. I left her alone after that.
That night I felt better. I felt like I new everything at that moment, and that everything would be just fine. And for the first time in 3 nights I got to sleep. And only because of my mother who has always been there. Thanks mom. I love you with all my heart.
