Title: Midnight Prowlings

Darkness lay over Hogwarts school like a black blanket. It seemed not a single star was out tonight nor was the moon. Everything was silent.... 'FOWL!' Snapes cold voice shattered the silience. He sprinted down the corridors as fast as his legs allowed him. He new he was close to the student he could see her running a couple feet ahead her hair flipping about wildly.
Olive Fowl was not one to go to bed when it was time. She preffered to prowl around the school at night seeing things she had never seen before and seeing how many times she could sneek past a teacher without getting caught. Usually she never got caught, but tonight she wasn't so fortunate. When she had decided it would be fun to slide down the banister tonight she had met an unexpected suprise at the end. Snape had been walking by and she ran right into him. She quickly got up and sprinted away, however Snape had taken a bit longer to recover and now she was running away from him. She tried every door that she past and all were locked she new she had to do something so she took a miniature bottle of hand lotion from her pocket, ('Me and my strange ways.' she thought) and squirted a great glob of it on the floor. Just as she had expected Snape had slipped on it and fell hard to the cold stone floor she seised her chance and took many turns until she noticed a door that was ajar. She quickly slipped inside and imediately noticed the giant mirror laying againts the opposite wall. She approched it and when she saw herself in it, it wasn't just her reflection looking back. Instead her reflection was sitting on the floor or bottom of the mirror and playing with an orange tabby cat. Olive smiled. She'd always wanted a cat but hadn't be able to persuade her father. Now seeing herself with one gave her new confidence. With one last glance at her and the cat she slipped out of the room and headed back for the Hufflepuff common room a warm dreamy smile spread across her freckled face.
