Title: The Path Of The Chosen (Part 42)
'Rockorro, you've got a lot of nerve for pushing these innocent Digimon around and kicking them off Playaround Island!' Sockiomon yelled in anger. 'So what? This place is perfect for me to turn into my very own home base,' Rockorromon said. 'You can't do that! Playaround Island is what keeps the balance of fun and playtime flowing! If you destroy this place, then you're destroying that particular balance!' Sockiomon said. 'Yada, yada, yada, I'd rather fight you for this place rather than hand it over to you,' Rockorromon said. 'Alright, you're on!' Sockiomon shouted. The two Digimon then flew towards each other until they tackled into each other. First, Rockorromon stepped on Sockiomon's tail but he delivered a low kick that knocked Rockorromon to the ground. 'You're sneaky, Sock. I like that,' Rockorromon said as he grinned malevolently. 'I may be sneaky, but I'm sneaky in a good way!' Sockiomon said. Sockiomon then tried to hit Rockorromon with his claws but the evil Digimon ducked then gave Sockiomon a powerful left hook on the chin that knocked him back two feet. Rockorromon then leapt forward and sank his fangs into Sockiomon's left ear, causing him to give out a pained screech as the others looked on in astonishment. Moments later, Sockiomon put himself in a kneeling position while breathing heavily. 'The only way I can get rid of Rock is use my Heavenly Apprehension attack. I know that it's too much of a risk since it can wear me out after a while, but I have no other choice. I have to do it for my friends and for the Digimon that live here on Playaround Island,' Sockiomon thought to himself. Then, he picked himself up as his body was covered with cuts and bruises. Then, he tilted his body forward as he once again started surging with energy. 'Oh no! This is the same attack that blasted me away the last time we fought! Master Sotonamon, please forgive me!' Rockorromon thought to himself. 'Heavenly Apprehension!' Sockiomon shouted. He held out his hands as a bright orb started forming but as he was ready to fire the attack, the orb suddenly fizzled out and the glow disappeared from his body. 'Huh? What's going on? Why isn't it working!?!?' Sockiomon asked. 'How come he can't use Heavenly Apprehension again?' Agunimon asked. 'Heavenly Apprehension is a highly powerful attack that takes time to master. It's impossible to use it again for a while unless it is used by the most experienced holy Digimon,' Bokomon answered. 'So, you're saying that it was just luck that Sockiomon was able to use Heavenly Apprehension perfectly?' Beetlemon asked. 'I'm afraid so,' Bokomon answered. 'HAHAHAHAHA! I knew that you weren't experienced enough to use that attack, Sockiomon! Now prepare to die!' Rockorromon shouted as he started to fly towards Sockiomon. However, before Rockorromon could near Sockiomon, he was suddenly met with a powerful kick that sent him flying off the island as he flew across the distance. Sockiomon looked and saw that it was WereGarurumon who had saved him from his downfall. 'We did it, guys! We took back Playaround Island!' Agunimon cheered. The others then cheered for their victory but the only one who wasn't cheering was Sockiomon. Later, the gang was back in their old selves as Gabumon and his friends thanked them for their help in getting back Playaround Island. After that was over, the gang then said goodbye as they left Playaround Island then continued their search for Sotonamon's Lair.
