Title: The Path Of The Chosen (Part 50)
'That's it! Gorillamon make meddling humans pay big time!' Gorillamon roared. Before he could make a move, the group suddenly heard someone yell, 'Fossil Knuckle!' Squawkmon suddenly leapt out with his fist held up then punched Gorillamon in the face. 'RAAAAAWWWWWRRRRR!!!!!!' Gorillamon angrily roared. 'Time to show you what happens when you go ape way too much! Lobo Kendo!' Lobomon shouted. He pulled out his light sabers and slashed Gorillamon. 'Now it's personal! Mackeral Pummel!' Tunatromon shouted. He pulled out his tuna lances and struck Gorillamon in the chest. 'Poison Powder!' Flymon shouted. He flapped his wings rapidly, bringing up a purple powder that scattered all over Gorillamon but he used an Energy Cannon attack to blast the attack away. 'Try again, pal! Spiral Sword!' Centurionmon shouted. He held out his sword and started spinning it around in front of him, firing a whirlwind of silver energy blades that sliced across Gorillamon's skin. This time, Aprisamon finally used a Speed Ninja Scimitar attack that caught Gorillamon off guard. During the battle, Sockiomon tried to use Heavenly Apprehension again but it still was a no-go. Suddenly, Gorillamon used a Power Attack that pummelled Beetlemon, Walrumon, and Flymon which horrified Sockiomon. 'That's it! This ape is going down!' Sockiomon shouted as he suddenly began surging with even brighter energy like a DBZ fighter. 'Heavenly Apprehension!' Sockiomon shouted. He held out his hands as a white orb started forming in his hands and this time, he finally fired a massive white energy beam that went right into Gorillamon's gun arm, causing him to roar in great pain as his gun arm exploded, resulting in his Fractal Code appearing moments later. Sockiomon then held out his paw and took away the Fractal Code, turning Gorillamon into a Digi Egg that flew off in the distance. When the battle was over, the group then reverted back to their old selves again as they started congratulating Sock for finally able to use Heavenly Apprehension properly. 'Thanks, guys. But I couldn't have done it without believing in myself,' Sock said. The group then looked over and started to watch as the sun started to sink in the horizon. The group knew that they couldn't travel in the dark but luckily for them, Squawkmon had offered them a place to sleep. Soon, now that the three moons were up in the sky, the group then went to bed, hoping to resume their journey in the morning.
