Title: Dreams
As I close my eyes and go to sleep at night.
I see something in the distance just out of sight.
When I realize that it is you.
I begin to feel so very blue.
Because at that moment I realize it was all a dream.
But how I want it to be as real as it seemed.
Then I awake to reach over for you.
And I wish for something to be true.
I wish for you to be right over there.
Close enough I could feel your hair.
Then I close my eyes and go to sleep just one more time.
I have a dream that you were mine.
