I am, I was and I will are just a few ways of starting a sentence. But is it ever correct to say I is?
Yes, I is the 9th letter of the alphabet!
James and John got washed out to sea, John was nearly saved and James was nearly drowned. Which one later donated a weeks wages to the Lifeboat society?
James, if John was NEARLY saved then he can't have been and if James was NEARLY drowned then he wasn't.
