Title: Two sides

There are two sides to this girl
She is torn between two universes
In her own confused world

She is swinging and swaying
Like a pendulum; living yet
Constantly breaking and freying

Eat, don't eat, nourish, don't
Fulfil or thrive on the madness
That you willingly won't

Stare are the image of truth
Or be blinded by a distorted screen
That manipulates her vulnerable youth

Displaying signs of desperate need
But is it ignorance or desire or hurt
That restricts her feed?

She longs for normality inside
But it is her self-loathing resistance
That starves her outside

Why way does she turn?
The path of accustomed acceptance
Or the deprivation of for what she yearns?
