Title: Ice

Ice is very cold
Very cold, not nice to hold
Cold always lingers
Making icicle fingers
See the sunny light
Shining through the ice so white
Give the ice a bash
Then stand back and watch it smash
Careful! You can slip
Making you feel such a drip
Watch the skaters slide
Across the ice - see them glide
Dancing back to back
Just watch out, ice can crack
Oh, look what I've found
Puddles on the icy ground
Fallen on my bum
I'll run home to tell my Mum
Sunshine - you can bet
Melting ice will make things wet.

A Storyteller Topic - Kids Are Poets Too
Poetry is a great way to express yourself, whether you're feeling down or on top of the world. There are many different types of poems and remember, they don't have to rhyme.
