The giver is about a perfect world.No pain,no fear,no choices.You can't lie and you have to tell your feelingds.And when yyou start having stirrings, you take pills,You also tell your dreams.
Jonas is Eleven, almost Twelve. At the Ceremony of Twelve you recieve your 'assignment' or your job.His number is Nineteen. They skip his number and he freaks.They said he wasen't assigned, but selected.Selected for the most important job,The Reciever of Memory.There he will feel pain and he can lie.He will be alone and apart.He can not discuss his traninng!
