Gathering blue is about a girl,Kira,who lives in a perfect world (a Utopia) and only perfect people can live there.Kia is imperfect because she is crippled.her mother had protected her,and now that her mother is dead,hostile women want to get rid of her,excpecially Vandara.But they fail because she can weave good and make colors.
