Title: A New Start Chapter One
BYE, BYE JIMMY, BYE AMY, BYE EVERYONE! A blond headed
girl cries as she boards a plane to Maine.
She hurriedly walked to her seat, tears taking over her fake expression to be jolly. As the plane took off she stared teary eyed at her hometown in Colorado. Memories of her friends and one time family came flashing back to her like a movie replaying her devoted life. She remembered
Kaytlyn, Jennie and Carrisa. She remembered playing and times when cheating was optional. She laughed silently to herself remembering climbing on the restroom stalls and wading up toilet paper to throw on the ceiling. 'AHHHH” she sighed 'those were the days. Now I’m going to High school and every things gonna be different. If only school wasn’t so far away'
'Excuse me but are you flying to Maine for high school?' a freckle face red hair boy questioned.
'Um yesss Rocky Shores High” The girl said carefully.'
'COOL! So-m I, my names Billy, Billy Whares.” Billy said expecting an answer back like her name. There was a pause between their voices before she realized what he was
expecting.
“Oh, my names Teri, Teri Deroga.”
Billy attempting to continue the conversation said “Did you get excepted or did you get a scholership?'
“scholarship” She said
'What’s wrong?' he said noticing her long face.
“Oh nothing I just miss my...' Teri stopped short.
'Family' Billy pressed cautiously”.
“No, I mean I had family but every other month I got a new one because of being an orphan and all. The only reason I got my scholarship was because of going to school and my families supporting me as I go.'
'Oh, I'm sorry.' Billy said respectfully.
'That’s O.K.” Yawned Teri. After that her world went blank and into Fairy tale land.(she fell asleep)
4:15 A.M.
'ALL PASSENGERS PLEASE GATHER YOUR LUGGAGE AND HEAD TOWARD THE EXIT. WE HAVE CURRENTLY ARRIVED IN MAINE!' Someone called over the intercom.
'Teri, Teri, Teri wake up, we've arrived in Maine.'
'Wha, what? Oh, I'm sorry' Teri said apologetically. 'you
didn't have to wake me, someone else would have probably woke me.'
'Well no, I had to your on the aisle seat.'
As Teri got to her feet she pulled her luggage from under the chair, slung it on her back and slowly but surely moved toward the exit. As she did this she drug her hand across every beige plane seat there was except the rear seats and the pilots.
