Title: A New Start Chapter Three
When he shut the door and as she slumped down on the bed. She gazed at the ceiling with the green aliens hanging from it. “How did they know she loved aliens and green at
that.” she wondered. She rolled on her right side, there was a splattered green wall. She flipped to her left, there was a pine wood dresser with an odd shaped mirror on it. The
mirror was almost in triangular form. She rolled on her back and gazed once again at the ceiling, noticing the large fan. The fan was so big she thought to herself that the roof would cave in. Just when she was about to close her eyes she spotted an old chair. It looked like it had been there for ages. It looked like it had been left outside for quite a while being very weathered. It gave the room a different look.
“HI TERI, HI TERI, HI TERI, HI TERI, HI TERI.” Her alarm sang out “HI TERI, HI TERI.” CLICK.
“What time is it?” Teri said lazily.
“6:59 oh my gosh one minute to get down to breakfast” Teri said now wide awake.
She slipped on her flare overalls and a daisy tank top. Then rushed out of her room to the kitchen, or tried On her way she got lost for a moment, but soon reached her desired destination. For breakfast there were hot hashbrowns, eggs and sausage. She ate them all very quickly.
“Time for school Teri.” Billy managed to say through a mouthful of eggs.
“O.K. I’m coming.” Teri said finishing her hashbrowns.
Mrs. Whares said she would drive them to school. When they got to school everyone was handed a schedule. Teri read hers.
As Teri walked to Science class she spotted a girl that acted as if she was shy and friendless. Teri wanted to make as many new friends as possible. So she introduced herself.
“Hi, I’m Teri.” She said as friendly as she was capable of.
“I’m Tara.” the girl said smiling.
“What class are you in first?” Teri asked.
“Science” Tara replied.
“Can we be friends, I mean I just moved here from Colorado and--”
“You just moved from Colorado also” Teri interrupted.
“Wow that’s wonderful.”
“All High schoolers in two minutes classes will start.” the intercom thundered.
“Let’s go to class then” Tara chimed.
On their way to class Teri said to herself joyfully and confidently “I know today’s going to be great.”
