My opponent laughs at me to hide his fear
That I know is there.
I roar to remind myself
Of the bravery I hold within.
I watch as he puts up his fists.
His dark eyes glare at me.
' Last chance,' I warn.
But it's too late for warnings.
The battle has begun.
