Title: My Unfortunate Infection
I have a most unfortunate infection, my hair always turns blue whenever I sneeze. It stays blue for at least two hours before it goes off. It certainly is very annoying and embarrassing. Whenever I go to public places and happen to sneeze, my hair changes into a bright blue colour and I have to bear with it for two whole hours. Isn't that abashing? There were times when I tried to control my sneezing, but that does not help much.
I clearly remember how I got my blue hair. I was feasting on a packet of delicious blue M&M chocolates when I dug into the packet and fished out a blue one. I popped it into my mouth and begin to chew it. That was when I heard my mother calling, ' Dear! You've had enough chocolates for the day. I don't want you to get any tooth decay.' I obediently kept the chocolates. It was not long before I sneezed a colossal sneeze. I did not have a tissue with me at that time so I went to the kitchen to get one. My mother was cooking in the kitchen. Imagine how startled she was when she saw me walking in with blue hair. She gasped at me. ' Your hair, your hair,' she stammered.I went to the mirror to look at my hair and got a shock! I stared in disbelief. My mother recovered from her shock and said firmly, ' We're going to consult a doctor.' She grabbed her bag and marched out of the house with me trailing behind her. I could feel everyone's eyes following me. I could hear them whispering about me. My cheeks turned red.
