I wish I could be the stars in the sky,
or even the moon.
I wish I could be the warm
gentle breeze and dance like the trees.
I wish I could be a rose
and look so beautiful and smell so sweet.
I wish I could be the clouds in the sky
and never cry.
I wish I could be a rain drop
so clear and free.
But I can't be any of these things,
I can only be ME.
