Title: The Dance
It wasn;t my first, I had been to others. But this one was like no other. It was at Riverbend. One of the three possible places it could have been. But it was still different. He was there. I knew not his name only that he wasn't very tall but he was very kind and no self centered. He was mine. He had to be mine. Those who say that there is no such thing as love at first site they are todally wrong. I know from experience. I love this unknown man. I see him every two weeks and that is the only time. But I think of him everyday. More than once a day. Never does an hour pass with out me thinking how perfect it would be.
Well that day was like all the other dance days. I only went cause my bestfriend Pam wanted me to go. That is when my life changed. I was no longer reluctant to go to the dances I actually wanted to go. That is when my life changed.
