Title: Night spook
It started as I was going on a nature hunt with about 5 of my friend's: Jim, Jack, John, Jeff, Jared, and me, James. We were the 6 J's
We were looking for the 2 animals on our list :
The List:
1:Snake
2:Red-tailed Hawk
(The snake we were looking for was able to be any of the kind.)
Well anyway it was 7:30 PM when we started.We were going to follow the list in order.Meaning the snake was first.
Jim had suggested the hole in Jared's backyard. Jared had agreed so we rode our bikes to Jared's.
We ran over to the hole with our glass cage for the snake when all of a sudden a snake slithered through Jack's legs. He quickly grabbed the box from me and caught the snake.
We had congradulated him him and held the box and slid the the box shut and ran along.By the time we were done it was 8:00PM
Then by the list we needed the Red-talied hawk so we rode our bikes to the biggest tree when I looked up and saw the Red-tailed Hawk. I knew we couldn't catch it but the nest it landed in was right bove our heads. So, Jeff John and I climbed up the tree and had found the nest,
we saw 4 eggs and the mother was gone out of sight so we thought hey, what the heck and grabbed one egg. We climbed down the tree and put the egg in a little box and when that was over it was 8:30. It was time to go and we were having a selepover a James' house. We tried to go home but got lost so called James' mom
and she said she knew where we were and waited but never came ,we waited 'til morning and we found our way and rode home, we told James' mom why she didn't come and that we called. But she had said What? I was asleep last night at 7:00
