Title: My Talent
Basically, my life in writing didn't even start with writing. It came
in letters. By the time I was two, I knew my entire alphabet and
even knew a couple of stories that I could read. I loved to read,
and in third grade I decided to write a book.
That book wasn't very well done. It had two pages of writing
and the rest was pictures. I got an award for it from my teacher,
which inspired the rest of my class to write. Pretty soon, everyone
was bringing in stories and I continued also. I wrote more, described
better, and illustrated more expertly.
One time a couple of my friends, Kyle Lee and Tyler Weaver,
suggested that we write series together. I said 'yes', thus creating my
partner-series stage of my writing life. We did well, creating many comic
series. I was writing them, Kyle was drawing pictures, and Tyler was coloring
them.
In fourth grade our partnership ended, but I was not done writing. At
the time, My cousin had given me a story kit. It had everything I needed to make
a book. It even said the story I made would be published! The kit was a little less
advanced than I was, but I didn't care. Soon I got the final story in the mail, giving
me my first hardbound book.
My writing took me to fifth grade, to sixth grade, and to
seventh grade, evolving my writing into neat, typed stories.
My stories aren't scattered in topics like most books.
Even while in partnership, I mainly wrote about traveling to different
worlds or shape shifting, a.k.a.: sci-fi. I love it! I can't get enough of it!
It has been my inspiration.
I don't always write stories when a teacher tells me to. I
usually write one in my spare time. I'm probably working on one now.
I stick to it until it's done. Then I know I put some effort into it.
Basically I might have a part-time job of a writer when
I grow up, if that's possible. Essays, complaints, and speeches wil
l be easy for me to write if I give it my all.
My writing talent, I think, expresses me better than anything
else. And my talent will evolve even more through my life until it's
ultimate, if I have good influences
