Title: Jenn's Adventure Part 15
I was feeling pretty good about myself as I took Vulpix and Spearow to the Pokemon
Center.
“The finalists, Jenny and Jack, will battle in the first ring.” I knew Tiffany didn’t win.
I walked to the ring and looked up at Jack. He was silent and seemed to actually be
thinking! Wow, that’s really unusual for him!
“Let the battle begin!”
Jack: “Go Jolteon!”
Jolteon: “Jolt! I don’t want to battle her!”
Me: “Go Vulpix!”
Vulpix: “Pix! I’ll get you again!”
Me: “Vulpix! Use your Flame-Thrower!”
Vulpix: “Piiiiiiiix! Gotcha!”
Jolteon: “JOLTEEEEE!!! Yowchies!”
Jack: “You weakling! Show some backbone and use your Pin Missile!”
Vulpix: “Piiiiiiiix! Ouieee!” Vulpix didn’t look so well after that attack.
Me: “Vulpix! Return!”
Vulpix: “Pix! Pix! No! I can get this guy! Just give me a chance!” Vulpix wouldn’t go in! I
gave her the chance to fight that she asked for.
Me: “Okay, use your Ember attack!” Vulpix hit hard!
Jack: “Jolteon! Don’t just stand there! Attack!”
Jolteon: “JOLTEEEEON!!!!!” With a final burst of strength, Jolteon delivered a powerful blast of
electricity that brought it (Jolteon, not Vulpix) to a faint.
Me: “Vulpix! Return!” I could save him if he stayed in the ball.
Jack: “Go Raichu!”
Raichu: “Raaaiiiiiichuuuuu!”
Me: “What the...”
Pokedex: “Raichu, an electric mouse Pokemon. Its long tail serves as a ground to protect itself
from its own high-voltage power.”
Me: “This is really going to be a tough battle. Go Spearow!”
Spearow: “Speeeeaaaarrrr!”
Jack: “Ha! this’ll be easy! Hahaha! Raichu! Thunder Attack!
Raichu: “Raiiiii!!!!”
Me: “Spearow! LOOKOUT!!!!!”
Spearow: “EEEEEEEEEE!!!” Raichu’s attack hit her!
Me: I walked over to Spearow and patted it softly, she wasn’t paralyzed, just stunned for the
moment. She got up and started growling at Jack. “OKAY!! Spearow! Fury Attack (get it?)!
NOW!!!!!!” She hit the Raichu with a blow that shook the ground beneath my feet and took it
down.
“YESSSSSSSS!!!” I exclaimed. I healed Vulpix and gave her and Spearow two treats
each. .”
