A man sat on a stool beer in hand
Head slumped down
his pain was grand
A very old man went to him at once
'I'm here to free you of such pain', said he.
'My heart is slain old man, happy is something I'll never be'
'Many loves had I , I know of sufferings too,
so less talking and more listening is something you should do'
'The problem is all inside your head don't you see
allow me to facilitate, let us talk logically
You lost a woman, not just a woman but the girl of your dreams
So now you are so sad that your heart in pain screams
This is not the end, and I'll explain why
You have two choices, get over her or lay down and die'
'But how can I rid myself of such a great wound,
My heart speaks for itself, my days are doomed'
'Listen son, and I will be frank
maybe this is me or the beers I have drank
but take this here gun and point it to your head
pull this here trigger to make yourself dead
Life is full of choices and you have one now
Either shoot, or learn to your heart not to bow'
By this time everyone was looking, not a fly was heard
All waiting to see if from hell he could be lured
Staring down at the ground he thought of a lot of things,
Love was on his mind, love and the all the pain it brings,
The young man stared at the gun and his serious look revealed, he was thinking hard
Men lose lives when you don't expect that fate at any time could deal a bad card
The young man spoke loudly 'I thank you for your display,
I would not settle for anything less-
Now stand back because my brains will leave an awful mess'
Without a moment's notice and to everyone's surprise
He shot himself in the head, his heart no longer cries.
