StoryTeller - How the
points work.
StoryTeller
Membership is based on a points system to help control the quality and
quantity of stories and messages submitted.
- When you sign
up as a new member, you will be given 10 points to start with.

- Posting a story
will cost 1 point. Once your story is rated (this will happen
within 5 days), you can earn points back.

- A rating of 1
or 2 will not earn any points.
- A rating of 3
will earn 1 point.
- A rating of 4
will earn 3 points.
- A rating of 5
will earn 5 points.
We hope this will
encourage members to write better stories and not waste points on
frivolous posts. |
- If you have no
points in your account, you cannot post a story.

- If you have run
out of points, you will need to wait two days for an additional
point, so that you can publish stories again.

- Be aware that
messages in Author's Corner, Pokemon Authors and Your thoughts are
always rated with a 1, so they will always cost you a point!

- Assistant
Editors will be given additional points so that they can reply to
messages from other authors.

So, it's a bit like
having money. You can spend it or earn it. If you earn more than you
spend, you will build up your account.
If you get lots of
points, you'll be able to spend it on other things like using colours,
pictures and music in your stories - higher level features that we will
introduce later on.
