STORYTELLER SEARCH

All the stories that are published at Education by Design are held in a huge database.  Now you can search our database for your favorite stories.  Just select your search terms and press the search button. You only have to enter in one search term - either Author OR Title OR Topic.  For instance, if you put the name John in the Author's box and press Search, you'll get all stories written by "John".  If you want all stories written by John from Melbourne, you also have to type in Melbourne in the Town box and then press Search.

Hints for Searching:

  • If you select several search terms, you will be searching for this and this - eg Author = John and Title = My Puppy will search for all stories called My Puppy by author's whose name is John.

  • For Author, Title and Town, you can put in partial words - eg Just for Justin.  However, this will also give you author's whose name is Justine!

  • The more search terms you select, the smaller your results list will be.

  • A maximum of 100 stories that match your search terms will be displayed.  If your search produces 100 stories there are probably more stories that match your search.  If this happens, you should narrow your search using the dates.

  • If you want to search for a group of stories but don't care what rating they were given or what date they were written, leave the Rating and Month check boxes clear.
